Lexus slowly raked the hairbrush through her long, black hair.
She was absentmindedly humming along to a “Five Seconds of Summer” song.
It was a nice Tuesday night, the air was warm, and the wind was calm.
Lexus was on balcony, gazing out, watching the school's jocks play football.
She laughed quietly, as one of the boys jumped for the ball, and stumbled over a root, falling.
“Idiot.” Lexus murmured.
One of the boys, a tall, yet nimble 11th grader, called ‘Alec’ glanced up, and noticed that Lexus was watching.
He grinned, and winked at her.
She laughed, and waved back playfully.
